Park Pointe Hotel

At one time, this was a grand motel in its day, when in the room you will notice that there is crown molding around the ceiling etc. The lobby is gorgeous but blocked off. Both of the front desk people I interacted with were friendly. The room was clean,but my fitted sheet had a stain. In my room, the hand towel bar needs to be screwed down, the sink drain stopper needs to be connected, and there is a light bulb missing from one of the fixtures. The HVAC system worked fine. There are security cameras all over the outside property, which have us a piece of mind for our vehicle not being broke into - even seen the SSFPD patrolling the lot. Overall, it was quiet when sleeping. It is close to the airport, so you will hear jets talking off. Signage could be better to let people know they are there and open. For a cheap motel, this is great if you just want a clean, safe place to shower and sleep for the night

I think this place gets a bad rap. Yeah, it's wonky and is a motel, not a hotel, but it was pretty clean and quiet. Our flight got cancelled and there was a convention starting so prices were outrageous at other properties in the area. I booked through Expedia and got the room for less than 50$ for the night. There's no cable TV and no WIFI but we just needed a place to sleep and had a tablet to watch plus our phones. The floors and chair were stained but the room looked and smelled clean regardless. The motel doesn't serve food but the Chinese buffet attached to it was delicious. I can't say if I'd choose this property in another circumstance but for us it worked. It does seem like quite a few rooms are permanently occupied but that wasn't a deterrent for us. The pandemic displaced a lot of people and I'm grateful that some have found a place here.

Friendly staff at the front desk and cleaning staff. A lot of the rooms have been renovated and are clean and nice. Enjoyed the layout of the hotel room, you can drive up to your room before parking and unload your vehicle. Very easy to have food delivered directly to the room from outside delivery. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to San Francisco.

two day layover, rooms were available, didn't have to wait until after 3pm to check in... yeah rooms were a bit old, carpet needs replacement, no problem requesting extra towels from housekeeping directly... Chinese buffet next door, few other restaurants within walking distance, booked a room online with Agoda... oh! if they would have better hot water , it makes a difference! still enjoy myself and my stay.. wasn't the best, but I've had worse!

I had a great experience here, but I travel 100% of the time so I am a professional traveler. 1. Bring own microwave and use cooler with ice machine 2. Being own sheets and foam mattress topper 3. Bring own air purifier to drown out noise and filter out smoky smell 4. Surround bed mattress with glue traps so nothing can crawl onto me (they are so sticky that nothing can pass without getting stuck, trust me) 5. Bring own soaps and shampoo 6. Never walk around hotel with bare feet I followed all these and had an excellent stay because room was nice. Then again I always have good experiences. Follow these steps and you will never have a bad hotel experience again. **thus far my traps caught 0 bugs, therefore I can conclude my room is free of bedbugs, because they would have already tried to cross and get stuck lol

I paid $38 a night here in 2020 yes that's right there's no misspelling there ! $38 a night I stayed for a total of two nights reserved ahead of time and ended up staying an additional night but left early cuz I really just didn't want to leave at that very moment so I paid for the night although I didn't stay for that night I mean who can beat $38 in San Francisco in the year 2020!! The room was very cute very cozy very clean and very quiet. Lots of space for parking and even though there was a lot of cars there I didn't hear not one person. If I had to make a decision on what I could change if I have the opportunity to I would say better cable and for the AC to stay on consistently instead of stay long turning off and then kicking back on. Besides those two minor and I mean very minor issues it is a beautiful place and I will be more than happy to stay there again.

There’s a Costco just around the corner, as well as a McDonald’s and a few gas stations within walking distance, which made grabbing food or fuel super convenient. The hotel grounds are decent for the building type—clean, simple, and quiet for the most part. The room itself was basic but comfortable. One thing I didn’t think I’d miss was having a mini fridge—turns out, it would’ve been nice to have one to keep drinks cool. The hotel map indicated there were ice machines, but after walking around in the dark on my first night, I couldn’t find a single one. It wasn’t a huge issue, but worth noting. Speaking of the first night—caught a spider scaling the wall across from the bed. Not a dealbreaker, just a moment of surprise. TV was a bit small with limited channels, but I was still able to watch a few familiar shows like Law & Order and Rick and Morty. If you're in a pinch or just need an affordable place to stay near the airport, I’d definitely consider staying here again. It’s a solid budget option. I arrived just before 10 PM and was greeted by a guy at the front desk with a scruffy beard that gave off more "late-night coffee shop poet" than hotel concierge. He was actually fine- polite and quick with the check-in-but it definitely caught me off guard at first when handing over my ID and credit card. Just one of those quirky moments that made the stay a bit more memorable. Check out was quick and easy.

Great place to stay for a night & at a decent price. We had a flight at 7am & the free shuttle was extremely convenient. They are currently undergoing renovations, so the exterior looks really run down, but the lobby was nice & our room looked newly renovated. The room did lack a fridge & microwave, our TV was a little messed up, the ac in our room only worked on auto, & no conditioner provided. I didn’t complain though, it wasn’t unbearable & we were only there for 1 night to catch an early flight. For the price & convenience, I would definitely stay again.
